"I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."

Photo A Day: Nov. 20th

Work/Play A fun Thanksgiving school activity from Nana! And apparnetly I need to do something, because I have reached my limit on free photo storage on blogger....hum....

A Story

Once apon a time there was a mama. The Mama was thinking hard about what to make for a warm lunch for her family on a cold wet fall day. She decided on a casserol, and put it in the oven. A bit of time passed and she went to check on the lunch, as she was doing so, leaning over the oven with the shelf pull out a bit, the glass baking dish she was using exploded. The Mama said a bad word. The mama never says bad words (no one in our house does).
Now, the mama was just fine. No sweet little people were in the kitchen, and no one was hurt....it just scared the boogers out of The Mama.
Fast forward to the next day (mess cleaned up Super Daddy) the only son, sweet and all boy at age 4, said the bad word he herd the mama say the day before....in the right context after only hearing said word ONCE!
The End

PS: Mom, this story is for you....should remind you of someone....although about 22(ish) years ago.

PPS: For the record, we talked to him about saying bad words, and he seem to have a very short memeory, as he has not said it again. I think the shocked expressions on his parents faces helped...tee hee
