Family Camp Out 2011

It was that time of year again. Time to load up the tent, bedding, clothes and food and head out for the Family Camp Out. It is always great fun with good food and visiting (or playing depending on your age) had by all. Here are some pictures:

Dad, Granddad and some kids heads.

Chris, Aunt Kim and Grandad

Carmen, Uncle Lee and some more kids heads.

Having fun rolling down the hill.

Uncle Klayton and Aaron visiting..oh, and Miss Flora. She seems to get in every picture. Must be something to do with the fact that she is ALWAYS moving!

Grandma (Flora is named after her)

Can we get all 6 kids to hold still and look up at the cameras????

Nope! :) But still really cute!

Fun with some glow sticks.

We all can't wait until next year!

Home

We are home from a wonderful family reunion. The cousins had a ton of fun playing, the adults visiting and eating. I do not have any pictures, because I ran out of the house with out my battery for my camera.

I am a very blessed woman. I married into an amazing family who have welcomed me with open arms. Coming from a very broken extended family, this means the world to me.

We are all exhausted and are heading to bed early, then comes the laundry, and I am sure I well get enough sand out of the clothing to help fill our sand box a bit more. The kids will be going though chip withdrawals, since we hardly every eat chips at home, but we all had a great time and were a bit mopey to have to head home.
