"I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."

Clean bedding and towels handing on the line

I love my clothes line. I washed 5 loads of bedding (I stripped off everyone's beds...nothing like fresh sheets and blankets off time line)  and towels and my line still had room for more...I just ran out of sunshine!
Yesterday was a busy day, I transplanted all 16 of my tomato plants into larger pots, got the black berries in the ground, got cucs, zuch, squash and watermelons started, cleaned out the rest of the flower beds, laundry and cooked dinner over the fire.

Aaron has been very busy the last 3 days. They have had 10 calls. In between calls he has been gathering up his "treasures" from the back door area and getting it ready to move the bunny out there. Today that will be done.
We are getting the rest of the yard/garden plans finished. All of our garden will be in raised beds this year, and since this spring has been the wettest on record since some time in the 30's...we have been having to wait for a dry spot to put them! This summer we will also be adding on a fire place of sorts for out wood heating stove, and taking down and making a better chicken coop and pen....the one now is, well, falling apart (it's OLD). Literally. As in rotting at the bottom, holes in the roof and large cracks to let in the cold in the winter.

Well, it is time for me to close this and get Andrew down for his nap. Then tidy the kitchen, get bread going and Go Outside!
