Homeschooling

One of the joys of homeschooling is that we can pack up our books and take them with us. Even better, we can take moments like shopping to teach dollars and cents. We can take an afternoon to take in nature and draw what we see. We can take a day of fishing to study fish, scales, teeth, GUTS and the eye balls. Yesterday Aaron caught two trout, one a 4 lb and the kids gathered around while he gutted it. Flora's favorite part was the eye ball (she could move them), and Clara's was fascinated but the whole process. Andrew thought that the poo was neat, go figure...
