"I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."

Kid Funnies

Here are a couple things the kids did today that cracked us up! What they think of!

Clara and Flora were playing, one would pretend to fall down and get "hurt" the other, unhurt, one would run over saying "OOOOOOOOHHHHH" is a very dramatic, pretend, sympathetic voice and "help" the hurt player to the couch were a pillow and "blank" were waiting. The hurt player would moan and groan while the unhurt one would "write something on a piece of paper" Then would say to the hurt player...."Do you want me to cut it off?" Or " You will live!"

Aaron is digging out the old sewer line and adding in a better one for our landlords, also his bosses and friend of ours! Yes, small town....oh Charlene is also the Mayor, making is seem even smaller! But thats not the point. The hens and kids were enjoying the fresh dirt and bugs to eat, well the hens were, and Flora kept yelling for the WHOLE world to hear. " Look at these wiggly worms!" With a lopsided smile. 100% Flora's personality showing though!

We ate dinner early tonight because the kids were "tarvin". While I was cooking, the kids were all hoovering in the kitchen, since I had hot oil, I shooed then into the front room, suggesting that they read some books or color. Flora's response was " I don't want to color......I want to EAT!" Said with the most pathetic look on her little face, you would think we never fed the poor dear.

Ok, maybe it was just the girls who were funny. Come to think about it, Andrew as been Sir Crab this afternoon. He is already in bed and its just 6!
