"I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."

Book Tip

This last week I went though all the adult books and thinned out as I moved the book shelf from the hall to the living room. I had a big box of books that were in great shape. I was just going to donate them to a thrift store. I then remembered that a lot of book stores that sell used books, will also buy used books. So while we were in town today, we stopped by. They bought about 10 of my books and I got almost $30 is store credit. I was quite pleased as I was not expecting nearly that much. So, if you are thinning out books, check out the book stores in your area, you might be able to make a little on them!

  1. Another wonderful idea to do with your used books is post them on Paperback Swap! Be sure and use me (djbartch) as your referral if you haven't signed up before! :)

  2. I was on Paper Back Swap. I was just getting tired of having books just sitting while I waited! I loved it the couple times I did it. But I am in a mood to thin out! :)
