Clara is our animal love, anything from bugs to bears. She loves it.
This morning there was this big, awful looking, ugly spider on the wall. This is what happened:
Clara: "Mama! A spider!" said pointing to the ugly thing on the wall.
Mama: "Oh, lets have Daddy squish it for us!", resisting the urge to leave the room until the beast is dead.
Clara: "NO! Its beautiful!"
Mama: Put hand up to her head, sighs and shakes said head. What to do with a girl who loves ALL of God creation, even with it belongs outside.
Clara: " Its just saying "HI!"
Mama: " How about we put it outside, where it belongs" still thinking it needs to be squished.
Clara and Flora: " Yeah!"
Aaron was laughing the whole time. Guess he thinks spiders are funny, or maybe it was what was said.....haha
I am still shaking my head, and getting over the hives the yucky thing gave me. But I have two happy girls, one life saved in the spider world and maybe one less fly. Here's to hopin'

Oh Annie, thats too funny! :) I can squish them when Aaron is gone, but if he is home, I wont do it! I HATE spiders. We think I was bit by one when I was younger.....that did me in! But what was I to do with that girl! I couldnt smash it with her saying it was beautiful! *sigh* I am sure the yucky thing with just move right back in. haha
