It's all of 13* out side right now. The kids are layered and bundled to stay toasty warm. They are out enjoying the snow. I went out long enough to get some pictures, freeze my legs and feet because the snow is taller then my boots, and am in, warming up some apple cider for when the kids come back in.
It started yesterday with a winter storm warming. First, 3-5 inches. Then, 3-6 inches with wind. Then, blizzard warnings.
We ended up with close to 2 feet of snow and it's still coming down, although not as hard as earlier. It's frigged cold, but we couldn't pass up the chance to play a bit.
Even the dogs got in on the fun! Lyla was so excited the kids were out playing with her! She loves the snow!
If you are wondering what the blue stuff is, it's tape! We taped the ends of the arms and legs of all the kids to keep snow out! It's too cold for snow filled boots!
The girls are back inside but Daddy and Andrew are still playing away!
