Today is Aaron's birthday, we have really been spoiling Daddy all weekend long with getting his birthday present (birthday $ and from me) on Friday. A Remington 30.06. Those of you who are not familiar with guns, it's a hunting rifle. He had some fun with his dad Friday afternoon doing a little target practice. 

Friday the kids went birthday shopping for Daddy. Clara knew what she wanted to get him. She even remembered were the gift was in Cabelas. 

She got him a pair of pj pants. They are a redish color with black moose all over them.  

Flora picked out a new coffee mug with moose on it (because it goes with his pants) and Andrew picked out a throw blanket. They all had a set amount they could spend,and I did have to guide away from a hideous orange plaid shirt that Flora had her eye on, but all in all a total success!. The kids had fun giving him their presents this morning and Aaron has tried out all three. 

I made him cinnamon rolls and am making a stew for dinner. We are working this afternoon to get a couple projects DONE!

Yesterday was a big day. Yesterday we have been holding you in our arms for 6 years now. 6 wonderful, amazing, gifts from God. We can not put into works how proud of you we are. You are incredibly kind, sweet and have a deep love of learning. We are trilled to be seeing your understanding and love of God grow and develop. We are praying that the year 6 is one filled with fun, learning and joy for you! We love you! ~Mama and Daddy

Little Miss F is 5!

Today you are 5. You are growing up so fast! Mommy and Daddy are so blessed to have you as our girl. We pray you have a wonderful time and totally enjoy being 5. We LOVE you sweet heart and your way of always thinking of others. Like today when you picked out your birthday cake. You picked the blue one, "Because Andrew would like it better" then the pretty one with flowers. Your giggles are infectious, we can not help but giggle with you. Here is to you Flora, praying for all the best!

Guess Who's Three?

Three years ago today we had been waiting for Andrew to make his entrance for over 2 weeks. I was achy and needing to get out of the house. So we went for a drive. We got back home and around 2 that afternoon I was starting to have contractions, and we got the birth kit out. He was born at 8:30 that night. We are so very thankful God blessed us with Andrew. Happy birthday son, Mama and Daddy love you SO much!

Presents, Cake and Fun Galore!

We are busy enjoying a fun filled day! 

While Brother and Sister took their naps, Clara got one of her present. A lego set, big up legos! For 2 and 1/2 hours we played and built with them. Then lunch, cake and a game of go fish with her new cards. On to a bath, then a Veggie Tales. 

Dinner, then more cake! :) I would say its been a pretty good day!

Lord, thank you so much for the gift of Clara. Thanks for her sweetness, her smarts and her wonderful smile. Thank you so much for the joy she give us and others. Help her to grow into a young lady after Your own heart. Give her Daddy and I the wisdom and guidance to raise her to honor and worship you all her days. Protect her from evil. Let her have a wonderful birthday. Thanks for letting us live life through her eyes and see the wonder in all you have made.

Time Flies!

Tomorrow our Clara is turning 5. I can not believe how fast the time as gone. I am working on a blog post for tomorrow and making her cake and just enjoying this last day of her being 4. We are all set to have a day of fun tomorrow. Goodies bag with a couple of small presents, cake, her choice for dinner, 2 Veggie Tales we haven't seen yet. It's going to be a fun day!

As for my new weekly schedule...I am a bit behind. Monday was a day where everything else needed my attention. It was way more important to play with my kids and giggle and laugh, then to wash my kitchen walls and cupboards. Tuesday I was right on, and even got some of the kitchen done. I was exhausted Tuesday night so left the pans from the day to be washed Wednesday. I was on a roll yesterday until we had a pipe (water line going to the toilet) bust. Aaron spent most of afternoon and evening getting it fixed, meaning the water was shut off.. So now today I am finish the kitchen and getting back on track. The joy of this schedule, is that I have time to make up missed things. I like that. I am hoping that next week will be even better, and soon this will be a habbit.

Our sweet Flora is 4 today.

The birthday fun started yesterday when we picked up the rest of the needed items for her cake, and went to see a movie. This was a first for the kids and they all did well and loved it! Flora is still talking about it with shinning eyes! Clara drew her sister 4 wonderful pictures to add to her goody bag. We are having pizza and cake for dinner and a fun day with the "prinpress"

For some reason this one loaded side ways. Still cute none the less!

Thank you Lord for this dear girl. Thank you for giving her to us. She is such a blessing. Thank you for her sweetness, her goofy faces and wonderful, kind heart. Thank you for her cuddles, rosy cheeks and big blue eyes. Thank you for her kisses and her great love for everything and everyone. Please protect her from evil and keep giving us guidance is raising her to honor and worship You. We are so thankful you knew we needed this sweet little Flower.
